The bandstand will be the central point but the focus will be on the surrounding buildings, trees, walkers, dogs and lion – which passers-by will be invited to draw with materials provided free. Help will be on hand from members of the Guild and the finished work might be a panorama looking like the Bayeux tapestry in the Museum! Last year over 100 people took part and many of the drawings done then will be on display (in the bandstand and HomeSense opposite) …… until they are replaced by the new work DONE BY YOU. The show runs from 10am until 3.30pm and is for all ages.

Original Prints

inspired by
‘NOSTALGIA’
10th September to 13th November 2011
Print @ the Park Group
in the Print Gallery -adjacent to th eprint room
7 days a week during normal Arts Centre opening hours
www.printattheparkgroup.co.uk

South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell RG127PA
01344 484123
..................................................

Print at the Park Group are also showing at
The Harvey Gallery, Guildford GU1 3RX
in an exhibition entitled ‘The End of Summer’
Saturday 24th September to Friday 7th October
(Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat 10am-12pm)
Private View Saturday 24th September 2-4pm, all welcome.
www.harveygallery.co.uk

More Arts Twyford

Opening exhibition by local artists
Friday 23rd Sept to Sunday 23rd Oct
Open Fridays 4pm to 8pm
Saturdays and Sundays 12pm to 4pm
or by appointment (call 07717 532323)
Paintings, printmaking, ceramics,
jewellery, woodwork, sculpture & The results were as follows:-
6a That all grades of membership should have equal voting rights at AGMs and Special Members Meetings, this to take place immediately, and that the Council shall amend the wording of the Constitution accordingly.
This was passed by the full members present unanimously.
6b That Full and Associate grades of membership be combined and called Exhibiting Members, that Affiliate Members be called Non-Exhibiting Members and that the Council shall amend the wording of the Constitution accordingly.
There was a consensus that Affiliate Members would like to continue with that name, so the motion was amended to allow for this and the amended resolution was passed by 33 votes in favour, none against and two abstentions.
6c That the Selection Committee to elect to Exhibiting Membership should consist of the RGA President, Chairman, and Exhibition Secretary and other persons eminent in the visual arts whom the Council shall invite, including other RGA members if appropriate and that The Council shall amend the wording of the Constitution accordingly.
There was insufficient time to consider this fully, so a Special Members Meeting is called to discuss it further and to reach a decision. This will take place on:-
Friday 6th May at 7-00 pm at Maiden Erlegh School in room M2.
We very much hope that you will be able to attend.
Yours sincerely
Anthony Wilder

OPEN STUDIOS 2011 West Berks and North Hants (and fringes of Oxfordshire and Wiltshire)

7 May- 5 June.
